Holiday's just aren't the same when you don't live around any family. We decided to try something new this year and I think we will make this our tradition every year.
We had our normal Easter activities and then headed up to Stonewall Resort for Easter weekend.
The kids got to see the Easter Bunny at Chick-Fil-A. I'm so glad I don't wait in long lines to get professional pictures.
Before we left we dyed Easter eggs.
Then packed up our awesome picnic basket with goodies for our hike at the resort.
We did the paddle boats.

We went walking and we also got to go swimming. The pool was outdoor and indoor and was heated enough that we got to go outside. Was a great start to the summer.
We purchased these moose mellow sticks for marshmallow roasting.
They had an Easter egg hunt with thousands of eggs.
and of course, Jared decided to eat a lemon.
We were joined by Caleb and Rhonda, and Brad and Hanah. They had the Easter Bunny there, so many activities for the kids, the guys got to go golfing, there is a spa, and awesome dinner and brunch buffets. Definitely one of our favorite places to go in WV. We definitely plan to keep this a tradition.
