July 2013

We spent a lot of time at the pool this summer.

Jared was running at school and ran into a bookcase and fractured his school. We had to stay the night in the hospital, and we ended up spending most of the fourth of July in the hospital.  Not the red, white, and blue we were going for.  The little boy (age 6) that shared a room with Jared had been bitten by a snake while raspberry picking.  He kept say, "Lord take me." He was a character.

We got released in time to have a 4th of July BBQ.

Keeping a little one from running and re-fracturing their head is difficult.  We played a lot of angry birds.

Frankenstein

I'm THREE!!!

Mallory didn't want left out.

For some reason I find July a hard time to throw a birthday party.  Last year Jared didn't get one, and it almost happened again this year, so last minute I threw together a birthday party in less than week.  Not recommended.  Jared wanted a basketball party.

We got Jared a basketball hoop for his birthday.

Party Favors

Our neighbor, Tim, had magic bubbles.  They were colored but leave no stains on anything.

Play dates over the summer. Catching bugs!

Making a fort, which I'm pretty sure it was a first for both of them.

I was instructed to get on the roller coasters, followed by 1-2-3 blast off" and then "hold on tight, it's a bumpy ride", and then Mallory telling Jared to stop making engine noises because her baby was sleeping.

First hail storm.  I had a terrible cold that made my ears so clogged I couldn't hear.  Mallory came up and said, "Mom, there are little white balls all over the deck and it's really loud."

Firm picnic

Mallory took pictures while Eric and I played tennis.

Noah's birthday party

Eric pulling out Mallory's first tooth.

Tada!

Jared thought art time would be a good time to cut his shirt instead of the paper.

Me: Why is there ranch all over your face?
Jared: Because I'm shaving like Daddy.

Why not sleep with socks on your hands?

Natalie had a late birthday party. She wanted Hello Kitty so we made that happen!
